PM: Buddhism and the Civil are inseparable

Phnom Penh: The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen, spoke about the harmonization of Buddhism with the evolution of society. He mentioned that Cambodia during the war not only affected the society but also their religion.

The Prime Minister recalled the history of the war in Cambodia and that when the empire suffered a crisis, it affected all areas, including religion.

"Bombs, shells, it does not know who is who," he said.

He added that as the Buddhist sector developed, the religious sector also benefited through civil development.

He said that when the people became rich, the Buddhist sector also gained prosperity.

He spoke at the 8th meeting with the Achar on the morning of April 8, 2023.
